This is the best translating tool I have ever used, and I recommend it to everyone - especially to those people who have been in the same Spanish classes as me. It is fast, accurate and always on hand. I would recommend it 100%
Disappointing
I tried DeepL but quickly went back to Google which works quickly & easily without all the hype I had heard about DeepL. I wanted something more professional, but DeepL only seemed to be more foggy, and more complicated to use. I prefer what works, simply & easily!
Very useful, but not perfect
I’m using DeepL service on a Mac since 2024 in a free version. I was excited for first couple of month by its abilities to properly translate pretty complex sentences. Then I started relying on it and soon I realized that some translations are not correct or that some simple expressions are completely missing. So I use the app with caution and when needed I’m looking elsewhere for translation. Throughout last year I’m experiencing a lot of crashes, sometimes my text is substituted by asian letters, the app gets stuck and has to be force quited. Despite all this, I find it the most useful app for occasional text translation.

I have been using DeepL since 2021 and I think the resource is very good and it helps professionals really weed out a lot of translation work in a very short time. Over the years there has been a few glitches and the translation quality has been wobbly a bit. But I think over all it still is very good. DeepL Write is also a great resource. Like every of such service, one has to proofread before sending so, I think I will give the team a 4 star rating.
My experiences has been poor
My experiences has been poor, with availability of Ai translation on the increase, I had high hopes. Extension for safari doesn't work, the cost vs the volume it can translate is poor. Paid for a year but I doubt Ill renew, overall a very poor user experience
No matter what your situation.
Although I am retired & therefore not in a high powered position, I find DeepL a great help in dealing with official matters, in my domestic situation.
I use it in a special technical terminology
I mainly use it to translate a technical terminology from English to French and, occasionally, to do the reverse.The availability of a glossary is major.
Better than others but...
I use Deepl via API and Windows app. + Far better than other translation sw - Gemini, ChatGPT etc. translation result is better
Perfect translations
I've been using it for a year and I have nothing but good things to say about it. It's an effective app that provides fast and very accurate translations. I've used it to translate websites, articles, and books on various topics, and so far I've always gotten perfect translations.

Гарний перекладач.Вже користуюся третій рік.Поки що все влаштовує.Хоча іноді буває підвісає,та не завжди коректно переводе ,але є функція альтернативи тож якщо є хоч малі знання мови то завжди можна підібрати правильний варіант.

I have used both the free and paid versions and it has been very good. I agree with some people that the use of AI has degraded some of the functionality but, as an occasional user I am very happy with it and I am grateful for the free facility when I don't need to do large and complex translations. I find it disheartening that some people seem to feel entitled to perfection without any investment.

The basic app seems to have lost the ability to translate common idiomatic expressions while the app in Chrome is clumsy and slow.

Disappointing update
For a while, this was my go-to quick translator. Then they did an update last fall & Pro no longer works on my older imac. So I will not be renewing my subscription.

I use DeepL on my Windows PC and iphone
I use DeepL on my Windows PC, everyday. What makes DeepL so great is it's integration into other apps, like Signal and Facebook messenger. You can even use hot keys to access DeepL with apps that don't (or won't) integrate with DeepL, such as WhatsApp. The phone app is great also. It's excellent.
